Ocean Animal Hospital is a locally owned veterinary practice serving dogs and cats in Cape Canaveral and the surrounding Space Coast community. Dr. Gabriel Young and his wife, Angie, purchased the hospital in 2020 with a simple idea in mind: keep the practice personal, approachable, and focused on excellent medicine.
We’re intentionally small. That means clients can build a relationship with the doctor caring for their pet instead of feeling like another name on a schedule. It also gives us the freedom to slow down, look closely at what’s going on, and explain our recommendations without making things more complicated than they need to be.
Dr. Young brings years of veterinary experience from around the world, along with a genuine interest in challenging medical and surgical cases. That curiosity shapes how we practice. When an answer isn’t obvious, we’re willing to dig deeper.
The atmosphere here reflects the community we call home: relaxed, friendly, and straightforward. But laid-back doesn’t mean casual about your pet’s health. We take the medicine seriously, communicate honestly, and want you to leave each visit understanding what we found and what comes next.
